 Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the members of the examination review committee withdrawn from the preprint question bank and the experts of the National Center for Examinations and Educational Evaluation. At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, praising their efforts in developing education, stressing that evaluation is an essential entry point for reforming education and achieving educational goals, noting that the goal pursued by the ministry is to focus on understanding, analysis and creativity, and to help students develop their knowledge and skills to improve learning outcomes. .

The minister stressed a number of controls in preparing the specifications of the examination paper, stressing the importance of moving away from any trends in setting questions, and taking into account the different cognitive levels, mental levels and real learning outcomes, to develop questions to be divided (30% for understanding, 40% for application, and 30% for problem solving and creativity).

Dr. Reda Hegazy also directed that the questions be specific and clear and do not assume more than one answer in the multiple-choice questions, in addition to taking into account the number of steps in the solution, and that the alternatives to the answer be short.

He also stressed the need for the questions to measure the levels of knowledge, taking into account the clarity of the wording of the questions, the soundness of their style and their freedom from errors, and the gradation from easy to difficult.

In this context, the Minister emphasized the commitment that the percentage of essay questions in the examination paper should not exceed 15% of the total number of questions, also directed to reduce the number of objective questions (multiple choice) to give students sufficient opportunity to review the answer.

The minister indicated that the gradation of the level of questions must also be taken into account in all forms, with the degree placed next to each question, because there are questions with one degree and questions with two degrees.

Dr. Reda Hegazy directed that the topic of expression in the Arabic language exam should be an introduction or an introduction to one of the topics.

Dr. Reda Hijazi concluded the meeting by noting that the review of the answer form will be carried out through a committee different from the committee for setting questions, directed by training teachers on electronic correction, in addition to training the heads of traffic committees on how to review the student's data on the answer sheet, and he also indicated the formation of a committee composed of From 10 experts to review the answer form before starting the electronic correction of the exam for each subject to ensure that it adheres to the established standards.
