The Ministry of Education reviews the final preparations for technical diploma exams for the academic year 2022/2023
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is reviewing the final preparations for the start of exams for technical secondary school diplomas of all types (industrial - agricultural - commercial - hotel) in all progression systems (the three-year system - vocational preparation - the five-year system - dual education and training - applied technology) at the level Republic for the current academic year 2022/2023.
Technical diploma exams (industrial - agricultural - commercial - hotel) for the year 2023 are scheduled to start from Saturday 5/20/2023 for practical and laboratory exams, provided that written exams start from Saturday 5/27/2023 and end on Thursday. Corresponding to 6/8/2023, and practical and laboratory exams will be completed from Friday 6/9/2023 until Friday 6/16/2023.
The Ministry announces the statistics for technical diploma exams for the year 2023, which are as follows:
- The number of students applying for exams this year is (760,000) male and female students of all types, in addition to the number (1788) male and female students in applied technology schools, and the number of practical and laboratory exam materials (525) material, while the number of written exam materials is (1336) material.
- The number of practical exam materials for schools of applied technology (42) subjects, while the number of materials for written exams is (55) subjects, and the number of practical assignments for the final evaluation of students studying developed programs with curricula built according to the methodology of the professional competencies required in the labor market (151). (43) programmes, and (1240) labor market evaluators participate in the final evaluation of students studying the developed programs according to the methodology of professional competencies.
- The number of exam conduct committees of all types is (2550) committees at the level of all governorates of the Republic, and the number of workers in charge of exam work is (184204) members within all exam conduct committees at the level of the Republic (observers - examiners - observers - administrators ... etc.) In addition, the number of breaks for technical education teachers is (700).
- The number of question distribution centers is (39) centers nationwide, and the number of members working in the centers for distributing questions and collecting answer papers is (5060) members, in addition to the number of candidates for grading work of all types, whose number is (51051) members.
- The number of system and control committees for technical diploma exams in all sectors is (28) committees, and the number of management committees for technical diploma exams in all sectors is (23) committee.
The Ministry is reviewing the measures taken for the proper conduct of the exams this year, which includes completing the printing of all technical diploma exam questions of all types (industrial - agricultural - commercial - hotel - dual) and applied technology. The Central Administration Committee for technical diploma exams issued the costs for the candidates for my job. (Chairman - First Controller) Traffic Committee, numbering (5100) members for the first round only, and it was handed over to the competent management committees in all sectors.
The competent administration committees in all sectors have also prepared the costs for the gentlemen participating in the examination work for the first round (examination progress - estimation of grades) with a total number of (235,255) members, and they will be delivered on Wednesday, 10/5/2023. On the committees in which they will take the exam, and it will be delivered to school representatives on Wednesday 10/5/2023 so that students can receive it starting on Thursday 11/5/2023, in addition to that the officials have been assigned to follow up the readiness of the breaks to ensure that the breaks are ready At the level of the Republic and overcoming all obstacles that may face teachers of technical education during this period.
It was also stressed on the management committees and the system and monitoring committees of the need to warn, stressing that the committees conducting the technical diploma exams should take all legal measures against all violations related to fraud by all means (possession of mobile phones and electronic devices that help in cheating within the committees, whether with examinees or students - impersonating a student – traditional methods) and the application of what was stated in Law No. (205) of 2020 and the ministerial decisions regulating in this regard.
