Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, inaugurated the "Revive School Theater and Arts in Egyptian Schools" initiative, during the theatrical show "Taqdour", in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Madrasatna channel group and the media partner, "United Media Services".

This came in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, and a number of artists, athletes, media professionals and editor-in-chiefs.

Dr. Reda Hijazi stressed, during his speech at the end of the presentation, that the school is the real place for teaching and learning, with the aim of achieving the comprehensive growth of the student in terms of skill, emotional and knowledge, indicating that every student has the right to practice all activities in the school, whether sports, artistic or cultural. or scientific.

He added that in light of the assignments of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to discover and nurture talented people, a full day of each week was devoted to practicing sports, artistic and cultural activities so that every student would acquire the necessary general taste and physical fitness and be given the opportunity to discover and nurture talented people in cooperation with the relevant ministries, especially the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Culture. Youth and sports so that we have great artists and athletes who are able to compete globally.

Dr. Reda Hegazy continued, saying: "Here we are here today launching an initiative to revive school theater in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, our school group of channels, and the media partner, United Media Services," in the context of the Ministry's keenness to discover different talents among school students in the field of arts and theater in various parts of the Republic. At the level of every school, every administration, and every educational directorate.

The Minister of Education and Technical Education stated that the initiative aims to revive the school theater in discovering new talents among our students, as well as re-instilling and developing the artistic spirit in schools in general and schools for people of determination in particular to create a scientifically, artistically and literaryly educated generation.

He pointed out that the initiative will provide an opportunity for young authors, writers and artists in schools to become pioneers of art in the future, which requires preparing the infrastructure as much as possible, in addition to preparing human cadres from school theater directors and teachers and developing their capabilities in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture.

Dr. Reda Hijazi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, for her cooperation with the Ministry, so that the dream that we all wish for will come true, and for the school to return to its true role.

The minister also thanked our school's channel group, the United Company for Media Services, and all the artists, directors, and staff who had the credit for bringing this distinguished show to light.

It is worth noting that the theatrical show "Takdur" witnessed the participation of 7 students with artistic talents from Egyptian schools, and dealt with a journey to inspire the Egyptian child through his ancient past and his evolving present to find his own dream and strive to achieve it. The show also discussed several issues through theatrical performances such as identity. Egypt, the history of Egyptian civilization, the importance of introducing the Egyptian child to honorable and inspiring models, and the journey of their struggle to form a correct mental image among children about future professions, as well as the importance of culture and reading in shaping knowledge and shaping personality.

The show, which was launched on orbits on January 7 and 8, was written by Dr. Medhat Al-Adl and directed by Batool Arafa. Black Thema, and the Orient Choir.
