The Ministry of Education announces the operations room report on the second day of the second round exams

This morning, high school students took the second round exams for the high school completion certificate for the academic year 2023/2024, where students took the exam in the second foreign language during the first period with a total number of (5492) thousand male and female students, and in the second period, students took the exam in the national education subject with (1541) male and female students.

Students of the Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology also took the second round exam in the national education exam with one student, while only one student from the schools for the blind took the second round exam in the Arabic language subject (second paper).

Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, General President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operations rooms before the start of the exams, and he also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates.

The Deputy Minister stressed the need to follow up on all stages of the second round of high school exams, starting with printing the questions, and transferring them to the exam booklet distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and the system and monitoring committees.

Members of the electronic cheating combat team in the central operations room were able to monitor 4 cases of cheating during the second foreign language exam, as a female student was caught in a committee in Baltim Education Administration in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone in the French language exam, and another female student was caught in a committee in Ain Shams Education Administration in Cairo Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone in the Italian language exam, and another male student was caught in a committee in Abu El-Nemros Administration in Giza Governorate for possessing a mobile phone and using it to cheat electronically during the German language exam, and another female student was caught in a committee in Omrania Administration in Giza Governorate for possessing a mobile phone and using it to cheat electronically in the Spanish language exam.

A student was also caught in a committee at the Badari Education Administration in Assiut Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone during the National Education exam.

The phones used were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against these students, and Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding the regulation of exam cancellation and deprivation conditions, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of disruption of exams were applied.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various means of cheating, stressing the need to confront any attempts to cheat, and take legal measures against any violations that occur in exams.

It is scheduled that secondary school students in both the literary and scientific sections will take the second round exam tomorrow, Monday, August 26, 2024, in the first foreign language subject.

Students of schools for excellence in science and technology will also take the exam in the University Admissions Readiness Test (Arabic Language) for the first period, and the Concepts Measurements (Arabic Language) for the second period.
