The Ministry of Education announces the operations room report on the fourth day
High school students in both the literary and scientific sections took the second round exams this morning to complete the high school certificate for the academic year 2023/2024, as students took the exam in the economics subject during the first period with a total number of (4285) thousand students in the first period, and the statistics subject with a total number of (4285) thousand students in the second period.
Students of the Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology also took the second round exam in the Concepts Measurements (Geology) exam for the first period with one student in the first period, and students of the schools for the blind took the first foreign language exam (first paper) with a total number of one student.
Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, General President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operations rooms before the start of the exams, and he also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the examination committees in all governorates.
The Deputy Minister stressed the need to follow up on all stages of work on the second round of high school exams, starting from printing the questions, and transferring them to the examination booklet distribution centers, then the examination committees, and the system and monitoring committees.
Members of the electronic cheating team in the central operations room were able to monitor a case of cheating during the economics exam, where a student was caught in a committee in the Zifta Education Administration in Gharbia Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone.

The phones used were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the two students mentioned, and Ministerial Resolution No. 34 of 2018 regarding regulating the conditions for canceling the exam and depriving it, and Law No. 205 of 2020 regarding combating acts of disrupting exams were implemented.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various cheating methods, stressing the need to confront any cheating attempts and take legal action against any violations that occur in exams.
Secondary school students in the science section (science and mathematics) are scheduled to take the second round exam tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the subject of physics. Secondary school students in the literary section will also take the second round exam in the subject of history, and students in schools for the blind will take the first foreign language exam (second paper).
