The Ministry of Education announces the operations room report on the third day

High school students in both the literary and scientific sections took the second round exams this morning to complete the high school certificate for the academic year 2023/2024, as students took the exam in the first foreign language during the first period with a total number of (12102) thousand male and female students.

Students of the Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology also took the second round exam in the University Admissions Readiness Test (Arabic Language) with two students in the first period, and the Concepts Measurements (Arabic Language) with two students in the second period.

Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, General President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operations rooms before the start of the exams, and he also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates.

The Deputy Minister stressed the need to follow up on all stages of the second round of high school exams, starting with printing the questions, and transferring them to the exam booklet distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and the system and monitoring committees.

Members of the electronic cheating combat team in the central operations room were able to monitor two cases of cheating during the first foreign language exam, as two students were caught in a committee in the Badrashin Education Administration in Giza Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone.

The phones used were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the two students mentioned, and Ministerial Resolution No. 34 of 2018 regarding regulating the conditions for canceling the exam and depriving it, and Law No. 205 of 2020 regarding combating acts of disrupting exams were implemented.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various means of cheating, stressing the need to confront any attempts to cheat, and take legal measures against any violations that occur in exams.

The students of the general secondary school, both literary and scientific, are scheduled to take the second round exam tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in the subject of economics in the first period and the subject of statistics in the second period.

Students of schools for the gifted in science and technology will also take the exam in the subject of concepts measurements (geology) in the first period, and students of schools for the blind will take the exam in the first foreign language (first paper)
