While (255) male/female students from schools for the blind performed the subject of religious education.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education and Head of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen to follow up the general secondary exams, the first round, through the central operations room in the ministry, as he was assured of the progress of the examination process in all governorates.

The minister emphasized ensuring that students enter the committees without any electronic devices, and the need to use the electronic stick to search students while entering the committees, and to pass again half an hour after the start of the exam without affecting the discipline of the examination process.

The minister also stressed that any cases of fraud are the responsibility of the committee, stressing that strict legal measures should be taken in this regard.

Before the start of the exam, Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Combating Educational Dropout and Vice President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operations rooms. With regard to the National Education subject exam, two cases were seized using two mobile phones, and one part of the exam questions was published, as follows: A student was arrested for a committee in Sohag, and a student for a committee in East Mansoura, and the phones used were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken regarding These aforementioned students, and the implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding regulating the conditions for exam cancellation and deprivation from it, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of breaching exams.

He also directed Dr. Reda Hegazy to summon the observers of the aforementioned committees. To investigate them through the Ministry's legal affairs.

Two observers from a committee in Sohag were excluded for facilitating the process of cheating in the subject of religious education within the committee, and they were referred to legal affairs, after monitoring them through surveillance cameras located in one of the sub-committees in the governorate.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students do not use any of the various cheating methods, emphasizing that any attempts to cheat are dealt with, and that legal measures are taken regarding any violations that occur in exams.

It is worth noting that tomorrow, Tuesday, 6/13/2023, high school students, in its literary and scientific divisions, will take the first-round exam in the subjects of economics and statistics, while students of schools for the blind will take the national education exam.
