The Ministry of Education reviews the Operations Room report on the third day

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education continued to monitor the progress of the high school exams for the 2024/2025 academic year through the Central Operations Room, which monitors the progress of the exams on a regular basis in coordination with the educational directorates.
An atmosphere of discipline and commitment prevailed in examination committees across the country, reflecting the Ministry's commitment to ensuring the smooth and safe conduct of the examination process.
A total of 785,756 high school students (both the new and old systems) in both the literary and scientific sections took the Arabic language exam, in front of a total of 1,973 examination committees nationwide.
In the same context, (1,650) students from STEM schools took the Concepts Measurement Test (Chemistry) before (16) committees. (295) students from schools for the blind (both the new and old systems) took the Arabic Language (first paper) exam before (26) committees.
As part of his commitment to ensuring the smooth running of exams, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, monitored the progress of the secondary school exams through the central operations room. He checked on the level of discipline within exam committees in all governorates, directing that all measures be taken quickly and accurately to address any violations detected, while ensuring a suitable environment for students during the exam process.
Emphasizing the importance of preparedness and coordination, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif contacted the operations rooms in the governorates before the start of the exams and ensured the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Interior to secure the exam committee headquarters nationwide.
To ensure the smooth running of exams, Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam, General Director of the General Secondary Examinations and Head of the Central Administration for Education Directorates Affairs, confirmed that all directorates have been contacted to ensure that answer sheets reach exam committees by the specified time, which is no later than 8:15 a.m.
Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam directed that exam papers be distributed at the start of the exam, ensuring students enter exam halls on time without delay, and ensuring thorough inspection of all students.
Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam also emphasized the need for technology development officials at the education directorates level to monitor the surveillance camera system inside exam halls during the exam period, and to promptly inform the committee head of any problems that may arise with the cameras. This ensures that all events within the exam hall are documented and that the regularity and discipline of the exam process is maintained.
The third day of the General Secondary School Examinations witnessed a state of calm and discipline in various examination committees across the country. Various measures taken in coordination between the Ministry of Education, governorates, and relevant authorities ensured a smooth running of the examination process across the country. Full coordination with the Ministry of Interior was also ensured to ensure the security of the examination committees.
It is worth noting that on Thursday, June 26, 2025 (both the new and old systems), high school students are scheduled to take the first-term exam in Physics for the Science and Mathematics stream and History for the Arts stream. Students of the Schools for Excellence in Science and Technology (STEM) will take the Concepts Measurement (English) test on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, while students of schools for the blind (both the new and old systems) will take the Arabic Language (second paper) exam on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
