Minister of Education Discusses with "College Board" the Return of SAT Tests for American Diploma
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting via video conference with officials of the "College Board" to discuss the return of the "SAT" tests for American Diploma students in American schools in Egypt.
The meeting was attended, via video conference, by Dr. Matthew Chauvane, Director of the "College Board" International Team for the Southwest Asia and North Africa region, and Mr. Robin Haroutunian, representing the US Embassy in Cairo.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif expressed his appreciation for the role played by "College Board" in providing accredited international tests, through the development and management of the "SAT" test and other standardized tests, stressing the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and the institution to hold digital international tests with accurate mechanisms for American Diploma students in order to achieve equal opportunities among students.
For his part, Dr. Matthew Chovanek expressed the College Board's full readiness to support the Ministry's efforts and implement the necessary measures to ensure the accuracy of the SAT tests.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed preparing to sign a cooperation protocol for the return of the SAT tests for American Diploma students in Egypt, and determining the mechanisms for conducting the tests
