Education: Announcing the winners of the “Save Children and Youth” awards
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education conducted the first and second periodic draw for the year 2021, in cooperation with the Housing and Development Bank, at the bank’s headquarters, and it is a raffle that it has been keen to sponsor regularly since the issuance of this container, believing in the importance of the role of youth from Male and female students, in building the community and encouraging them to develop a culture of savings.
The withdrawal procedures were attended by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister of Education for Teachers Affairs, Walid Matar, Assistant Managing Director for Retail Banking and Branches, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Prize Savings Books, and a representative of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs, expressed his sincere gratitude and thanks to the members of the Supreme Committee for the National Project for the Future Apartment for the bank’s sponsorship of this project, which is one of the fruits of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and an ancient bank such as the Construction and Housing Bank.
Hegazy explained that the goals of the National Savings Project for the Flat of the Future are to develop savings awareness and financial culture among students at different stages of education, develop the ability to think and plan for the future, involve the school community in facing the housing problem, and link schools with the community through the services of the Housing and Development Bank, in addition to To secure the future of young people by obtaining housing units upon reaching adulthood.
He pointed out that in order for the project to achieve its goals, the Ministry's employees and the various educational directorates, directors of the general social education system and the social workers in schools must join hands with the officials of the Housing and Development Bank to educate students about the objectives of the project and the method of opening the notebook and its advantages that the bank gives to its clients and mentioning this container on this school saving day from On the one hand, and on the other hand, activating the role of sub-committees formed from members of the Ministry of Education and the Bank, by putting the Supreme Committee's directives into effect in promoting the spread of this project in all schools of the Republic.
Walid Matar emphasized that this project comes within the framework of the vital developmental role that the Housing and Development Bank plays in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, which aims to develop savings awareness among students until they reach the age of 21 years to instill the value of their savings and enable them to plan for their future by saving an amount of money They enable them to participate in one of the bank’s housing projects within the framework of the state’s plan to lift the burden of searching for a housing unit from the shoulders of young people while they are in the prime of life, during which the saved funds are invested to form a provider for a housing unit for nearly twenty-one years to activate the National Savings Project.

The winner of a housing unit worth 200,000 pounds, student Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed in the Nasr City branch, and the second prize for a housing unit with a value of 100,000 pounds won by Fares Nabih Sadiq Abdo, and the third prize for a housing unit valued at 50,000 pounds was won by Maryam Sherif Zakaria, in addition to (425) Prize ranging from 250 pounds to 1500 pounds.
It is worth noting that during the meeting, students who won the last year's draw were honored, and certificates of appreciation and prizes announced to them were presented.
