The Ministry of Education announces the start of grievances for students affected by their results
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the start of grievances for high school students affected by their results in the first round examination for the general secondary school completion certificate for the academic year 2023/2024. Starting tomorrow, Thursday 8/8/2024.
It has been decided to open the door for grievances against the results of the first round exam for a period of (fifteen days) starting from tomorrow, Thursday, corresponding to 8/8/2024, until Thursday, corresponding to 8/22/2024, provided that the inspection procedures begin at the specified headquarters starting from Sunday, corresponding to 11 /8/2024.
The Ministry explained that the mechanisms, controls and procedures for students to complain about their results are as follows:
First: Steps for submitting grievances:
- Grievances are open for a period of fifteen days, starting from Thursday, August 8, 2024, until Thursday, August 22, 2024.
- Pay an amount of 300 pounds (three hundred pounds) for each subject the student wishes to file a grievance regarding through the collection outlets approved by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education (Egyptian Post - Fawry - i-Finance) to the account of the Fund for Supporting and Financing Educational Projects.

Second: Procedures followed during grievances:
- The student must attend the grievances office alone or with his guardian, and it is forbidden to accompany the subject teacher.
- Commitment to appear at the specified time for inspection. Anyone who fails to apply does not have the right to apply again.
- Provide a clear photocopy of the student’s and guardian’s national ID cards.
- A picture of the answer (the bubble sheet - the frying pan sheet) is viewed in addition to the answer form.
- The student reviews the answers and collects the grades according to the distribution of grades on the answer form, and the student writes his notes in the space designated for that.
Second: Procedures followed after reviewing the answers from the relevant technical committees:
- In the event that the student’s grades are modified, the student will be notified of the outcome of the grievance and the fees will be refunded.
- Increase memos are approved by the head of the examination year or the deputy head of the examination year.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is responsible for taking measures to notify the Ministry of Higher Education (University Admissions Coordination Office) of the student’s result after the amendment
