The Minister of Education reassures the health of students with a “school meal”

Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, was keen to communicate with the directors of education in the governorates of Qena and Assiut, to check on the health of students, who were exposed to a state of fatigue after eating a school meal.
The Minister of Education was reassured that all the injured in the school meal incident were discharged, after receiving the necessary treatment and checking on their health condition.
Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education, decided, after communicating with the company responsible for distributing school meals, to stop distributing meals in the governorates of Assiut and Qena, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 11/24/2121, until the investigation into complaints received from some governorates regarding school feeding for students is completed.
A number of students from the Sugar Company Primary School in Nagaa Hammadi, Qena Governorate, and a number of students from the schools of “Al-Kom Al-Ahmar, Al-Kadalik, Al-Salam and Arab Matir” schools in Assiut governorate fell ill after eating the school meal today. All after checking on their health.
