The Ministry of Education announces the results of the National Competition for the Ideal General Major “School Principals
Under the patronage of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the results of the national competition (General Major) for the ideal “school principals” for the three stages (primary, preparatory, secondary), which is organized by the General Union of Republic School Students for the academic year 2023/2024. Under the slogan “Student Unions and Artificial Intelligence”.
This competition comes from the Ministry’s role in supporting leadership and community excellence and the ongoing efforts of the Republic Schools Union to promote innovation and excellence in leadership, community service and sustainable development, and to identify the capabilities and talents of school principals.
Ahmed Musa, General Leader of the School Students Union, confirmed that the competition aims to enhance academic excellence and leadership capabilities, motivate school principals to develop the educational environment, activate community participation, encourage school principals to achieve sustainable improvements in the educational process, support the activities and programs of student unions and leadership, and provide the opportunity to exchange Experiences among common leaders regarding visions and proposals to raise the level of their professional performance and fruitful educational interaction, in addition to identifying the most important obstacles that hinder the performance of the work of common leaders during the activation of school activities.
Musa added that the competition was conducted according to several criteria based on personal characteristics, the project submitted by the Major General in light of the central topic, skill in activating modern technological means, activating leadership and student union formations in the school, the ability to overcome obstacles and activate student union activities and programs, and aspects of care for groups. Private and integration students, and a proposed vision for developing student unions in the school and its role in implementing school initiatives to achieve their goals.
The results of the competition were announced, as Randa Faisal Hafez from the Beheira District won first place from the primary school principals, Iman Owais Ismail from the Fayoum District won second place, Nama Khairy Salem Barghash from the Giza District won third place, and Khitam Muhammad al-Sayyid Hassan from the North District won. Sinai in fourth place, and Khadra Youssef Ali Amara from Ismailia District in fifth place.
As for preparatory school principals, Abdel Salam Abdel Salam Ali Salama from Damietta District won first place, Hala Muhammad Taha Abdel Rahim from Minya District won second place, Hanan Abdel Salam Muhammad Al-Ghoul from Beheira District won third place, Sahar Dawy Mahmoud from Aswan Directorate won fourth place, and Shaima Muhammad. Reda Ahmed from Alexandria District ranked fifth.
As for secondary school principals, Marwa Al-Sayed Ali Ali Al-Issawi from the Sharkia Directorate won first place, Abeer Al-Yamina Abdel Moneim Al-Gohary from Port Said District won second place, Walaa Hamed Dirar Ahmed from Qena Directorate won third place, Amal Saeed Muhammad from Suez Directorate won fourth place, and Safaa Muhammad. Sabry Abdel-Aleem from Beni Suef District ranked fifth.
