Students (second round) of high school take exams (Geology, Calculus, Psychology and Sociology) on the eighth day of the high school exams 2020/2021
This morning, students of the General Secondary Certificate Examination in the Sciences Division took the “Geology and Environmental Sciences” exam with a total of 3033 male/female students, and the (Mathematics) section took the “Pure Mathematics (Calculus) exam with a total number of 5390 male/female students, while the students of the Literary Division took the Exam for the subject "Psychology and Sociology" with a total number of 5172 male/female, and for the General Secondary Schools for Excellence (STEM) students for the Science Department took the "Biology and Geology" exam with a total number of 6 male/female, and for the Department of Mathematics, the "University Preparation Test (Mathematics)" with a total number of 35 male/female students, in the eighth day of the high school exams (second round) for the academic year 2020-2021.
Before the start of the exam, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs and Vice President of the Examination, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operating rooms, and reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates, directed to abide by the Ministry’s instructions, preventive measures and precautionary measures in the examination committees before and during exams to ensure the regularity of the conduct of exams, and to take all measures to ensure a calm and safe environment for students during the exam period.
He added that the atmosphere of the exam during the eighth day went well and disciplined and without any problems; Where the Central Operations Room, before the start of the exam, made sure that the question papers had reached all exam committees in the governorates, and that all stages of work with the high school exams were fully secured, starting with the printing of questions, “Babel Sheet” and passing through their transfer to the question paper distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and committees system and control.
The Central Operations Room of the Ministry of Education received several observations. The electronic fraud control team monitored (6) fraud cases, as follows:
- Qalyubia Governorate, where the student (M.A.F.) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the (calculus) exam questions on the Internet. The used tablet device was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Cairo Governorate, where the student (Psychology and Sociology) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the exam questions (Psychology and Sociology) on the Internet. The used tablet was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the said student.
- Cairo Governorate, where the student (M.A.) was arrested after she used a mobile phone to publish one of the parts of the (calculus) exam on the Internet, and the used phone was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, where the student (M.T.A.) was arrested after she used two devices (a hacked tablet and a mobile phone) to publish part of the exam questions (Geology and Environmental Sciences) on the Internet. The two used devices were seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the student mentioned.
- Qena Governorate, where the student (PM) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish part of the exam questions (Geology and Environmental Sciences) on the Internet, and the used phone was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the said student.
- Sharkia Governorate, where the student (AM) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish part of the exam questions (Psychology and Sociology) on the Internet, and the used phone was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
It is worth noting that on Monday, September 13, 2021, high school students in the sciences division will take the “Biology” exam with a total number of 6803 male/female students, and the (Mathematics) section will take the “Applied Mathematics (Statistic)” exam with a total number of 2385 male/female students, while the students in the section Literary exam for the subject “Philosophy and Logic” with a total number of 6147 students, and for the high school students in the STEM schools, for the Science Department, the exam for “Concepts Measurements (Biology)” is performed with a total number of 6 students, and for the Department of Mathematics, “Conceptual Measurements (Pure Mathematics)” A total of 23 male/female students.
