This morning, students of the General Secondary Completion Certificate (Science and Mathematics) section took the Chemistry exam with a total of 25045 male/female students, and the Literary section students took the Geography exam with a total number of 10627 male/female students, while the General Secondary students (the blind) took the exam. In the subject of geography (second paper) with a total number of 2 male/female students, and high school students from the Schools of Excellence (STEM) took the “Concepts Measurements (Physics)” exam with a total number of 2 male/female students, on the seventh day of the high school exams (second round) for the year academic year 2020-2021.
Before the start of the exam, Dr. Reda Hijazi, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs and Vice President of the Examination, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operating rooms, and reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates, directed to abide by the Ministry’s instructions, preventive measures and precautionary measures in the examination committees before and during exams to ensure the regularity of the conduct of exams, and to take all measures to ensure a calm and safe environment for students during the exam period.
He added that the atmosphere of the exam during the seventh day went well and disciplined and without any problems; As the central operations room, before the start of the exam, made sure that the question papers had reached all the exam committees in the governorates, and that all stages of work with the high school exams were fully secured, starting with the printing of questions, “Babel Sheet” and passing through their transfer to the question paper distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and committees system and control.
The Central Operations Room of the Ministry of Education received several observations, where the anti-electronic fraud team monitored (4) cases of fraud, as follows:
- Assiut Governorate, where the student (A.Q.S.) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the exam questions (geography) on the Internet, and the used tablet was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Giza Governorate, where the student (AD) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the exam questions (chemistry) on the Internet. The used tablet was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Beni Suef Governorate, where the student (MAA) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the exam questions (chemistry) on the Internet, and the used tablet was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Fayoum Governorate, where the student (M.T.A.) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish part of the exam questions (chemistry) on the Internet, and the used phone was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
It is worth noting that on Sunday, September 12, 2021, high school students in the sciences division will take the “Geology and Environmental Sciences” exam with a total number of 3033 male/female students, and the (Mathematics) section will take the “Pure Mathematics (Calculus) exam” with a total number of 5390 male/female, while Students of the Literary Division take the “Psychology and Sociology” exam with a total of 5,172 male/female students, and the high school students in the STEM schools for the Science Department will take the “Biology and Geology” exam with a total number of 6 male/female, and for the Mathematics department, the “University Admission Test (Mathematics)” )" for a total of 35 male/female students.
