This morning, students of the certificate of completion of the general secondary school in its two divisions (literary and scientific) at the level of the Republic performed the fifth day of the second round exams for the academic year 2020/2021 in the subject "First Foreign Language" with a total of 25,929 students.
Before the start of the exam, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs and Vice President of the Examination, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operating rooms, and reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates, and directed to abide by the ministry’s instructions, preventive measures and precautionary measures in the examination committees before and during exams to ensure the regularity of the examination process, and to take all measures to ensure a calm and safe environment for students during the examination period.
He added that the atmosphere of the exam during the fifth day went well and disciplined and without any problems; Where the Central Operations Room, before the start of the exam, made sure that the question papers had reached all exam committees in the governorates, and that all stages of work with the high school exams were fully secured, starting with the printing of questions, “Babel Sheet” and passing through their transfer to the question paper distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and committees system and control.
The Central Operations Room of the Ministry of Education received several comments, including:
- A car accident involving 4 observers of the General Secondary Examinations Committee in Ras Ghareb Educational Administration overturned during their return from examination work in Hurghada yesterday, which resulted in the death of 2 observers, and the injury of each (the owner of the car) and he was transferred to Hurghada General Hospital and then to Sohag University Hospital, And another observer was injured, and Dr. Reda Hegazy mourned the deceased, directing Professor Hisham Mounir, Director of the Directorate of Education in the Red Sea, to follow up immediately, finish the necessary procedures, and communicate with the families of the deceased to provide all support in their painful affliction, and follow up on the condition of the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The anti-fraud team also monitored (5) fraud cases, as follows:
- Qena Governorate, the student (A.A.A.) was arrested after she used a mobile phone to publish one of the parts of the English language exam questions on the Internet. The phone used was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Beni Suef Governorate, the student (AD) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish one of the parts of the English language exam questions on the Internet. The phone used was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Dakahlia Governorate, the student (A.H.) was arrested after she used a mobile phone to publish one of the parts of the English language exam questions on the Internet. The phone used was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Port Said Governorate, the student (RAA) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish part of the English language exam questions on the Internet. The phone used was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Sharkia Governorate, the student (H.A.A) was arrested for impersonating her sister, the student (N.A.A) in the English language exam. A police report was issued against the two students, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them.
It is worth noting that on Thursday, September 9, 2021, high school students (Mathematics Division) will take the Applied Mathematics (Dynamics) exam with a total number of 2385 male/female students, while high school students (the blind) will take the exam in geography (first paper) with a total number of 2. Male/female students, and high school students from the Schools of Excellence (STEM) take the "Concepts Measurements (Chemistry)" exam with a total of 4 male/female students.
