Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, signed a protocol between the two ministries regarding full cooperation and coordination to grant the Ministry of Education and Technical Education the use of two buildings belonging to the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the Marg and Zakat Foundation areas in Cairo Governorate. The Ministry of Education and Technical Education also uses a 15-acre plot of land at the aforementioned site to establish a school complex, which will be constructed and managed by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.

The Minister of Social Solidarity expressed her appreciation for signing the cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, given the importance of education as a priority. The school complex will be established in the area, which will have a positive impact on students.

Dr. Maya Morsi emphasized that the Ministry of Social Solidarity adopts the principle of investing in human capital, noting the close cooperation between the Ministries of Social Solidarity and Education and Technical Education. This year witnessed the launch of studies in a number of family and childhood development centers in villages under the presidential "Decent Life" initiative in the governorates of Ismailia, Beheira, New Valley, Qena, Sohag, Aswan, Dakahlia, Menoufia, and Sharqia. This is within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Education and Local Development, and the National Alliance for Civil Development Action. These centers will provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 4 to 6 years by providing high-quality educational, social, psychological, and recreational services that meet the needs of children in their early years.

For his part, the Minister of Education and Technical Education emphasized the importance of signing this protocol with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, as the establishment of a school complex in this area will be beneficial in addressing student overcrowding, and establishing such a complex will contribute to the development of educational services provided to students in the Marg Education Directorate.

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Social Solidarity for her efforts to contribute to providing practical solutions, which confirms the integration and coordination within which the government operates. He indicated that they will exert every effort to have this educational complex ready by the start of the next school year.

Under the protocol, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education is committed to displaying the Ministry of Social Solidarity's logo on the schools and buildings being constructed, as well as on all related activities. This project is considered a project of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

The signing of the protocol was attended by Eng. Margaret Saroufim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity; Counselor Karim Qalawi, Vice President of the Council of State and Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity; Mr. Hesham Mohamed, Director of the Office of the Minister of Social Solidarity; and Counselor Ashraf Sayed, Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
