The Minister of Education and Technical Education mourns the victims of the Sohag train accident

Tariq Shawky directs to follow up the case of the injured students and pay compensation to the victims and injured students

Dr. Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of a train collision in one of the areas of the Tahta Center in Sohag Governorate, asking God Almighty to bestow their mercy on them and to inspire their families with patience and solace, and sincerely praying to the injured for a speedy recovery.

The ministry stated that after counting the injured by the responsible authorities and it was found that students were among the victims and the injured, the minister immediately instructed the directors of the educational directorates in Sohag, Assiut and Qena to follow up on the health status of the students who were injured in the Sohag train accident and to meet all their needs.

The Minister of Education and Technical Education has also directed to allocate 80 beds at Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Mute, to serve the injured and receive their families, and other places are being provided, in order to facilitate the families of the injured in the accident.

Dr. Tariq Shawky announced the disbursement of material support to the families of the injured students and victims of the accident, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.
