The Minister of Social Solidarity and the Minister of Education and Technical Education discuss a project)

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, met with Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and officials of the companies “Seera” for Education, “International” for Educational Systems, and “Innovate” for Education. To discuss the project of establishing and managing a number of nurseries and classrooms for the age group from 0 to 6 years, in 108 family and childhood development centers in the villages of the President of the Republic’s initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside, “A Decent Life,” nationwide.

The attendees discussed the integration of roles between work institutions. The Ministry of Social Solidarity provides buildings for family and childhood development centers to establish early childhood nurseries from 0 to 4 years of age, in addition to providing buildings for the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to establish kindergarten and first grade nurseries, while the three companies provide the financial, marketing and service system and transfer their expertise. In administration and curricula, and managing them through civil society organizations, provided that the duration of project management by companies is 4 years. Then it is handed over to the associations after transferring the necessary expertise to them in the field of work.

The two ministers also discussed the possibility of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education benefiting from some of the assets belonging to the Ministry of Social Solidarity, for use in joint projects between the two ministries in a number of governorates.

On her part; Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her strong belief in the necessity of joint work and concerted efforts with all ministries, and in cooperation with civil society, in order to unify the vision of the Egyptian person for the word “dignified life” and maximize the desired results of the projects, noting that all ministers are united by thought and enthusiasm for the necessity of working hand in hand in All services provided to the citizen, which is evident in the cooperation of the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Education, and Technical Education in this promising project.

Dr. Maya Morsi added that this project will provide a great opportunity for children to enroll in kindergartens, exploit the assets of the Ministry of Solidarity, and benefit from the expertise of private sector companies and civil society organizations. The project will thus ensure the availability of the necessary expertise to sustain the project and achieve real benefit for the citizen in the poorest villages.

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, confirmed that the Ministry of Education is seeking by all means to strengthen partnerships and cooperation mechanisms with ministries and partner agencies to improve the educational system in its various aspects.

The Minister of Education appreciated the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Alliance for Civil Action to implement this project, which will contribute to accommodating a larger number of children in kindergarten and the first grade of primary school, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to make all necessary efforts to provide distinguished educational services to students.

The two ministers agreed to formulate a complete presentation for this project after completing some details and putting the final touches among the working group, in preparation for submitting and obtaining the approval of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, with both sides directing business companies to launch this project before the beginning of the next academic year.
