"Education" launches special education and integration championships at the level of the Republic in Alexandria

Within the framework of the support and interest of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education for people with special needs, and his keen interest in adapting students to society in schools, participating in competitions and various activities, developing skills, and building character among students, and in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic; To achieve the 2030 vision of sustainable development, special education and integration tournaments and competitions were launched yesterday at the level of the Republic for the 2022 academic year, which were held in the Youth City of Abu Qir in Alexandria from 10 to 12 April 2022.
The Central Administration for Special Education Affairs stated that the directors, supervisors and all participating students at the level of the Republic were received and housed, and a technical meeting for competitions was held for the directors of the Special Education Department, and activities coordinators.
She pointed out that the competitions this year include a drawing and theater competition for students of intellectual education and students of integration.
The Central Administration for Special Education Affairs praised the activities of competitions, theatrical performances, and drawing in all governorates of the Republic, and the presence of an elite jury of specialized integrity and transparency for the benefit of the students.
She noted that such competitions and educational integration aim to modify the attitudes of community members, reduce social and psychological differences, and provide an appropriate environment with better opportunities for self-realization for children with special needs, improving their social behavior, creating a spirit of competition and building a normal personality.
It is worth noting that today, Tuesday, the ceremony of honoring the winners of the tournaments will be broadcast live, and many different paragraphs will be shown through the live broadcast on the page of the Central Administration for Special Education Affairs at exactly nine in the evening.
