"Education" holds the fourth Guiding Scout Sports Festival for the children of Nuba

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, through the Services and Activities Sector - the Central Administration for Student Activities "General Administration for Sports, Military and Scout Education", has held the fourth Guiding Scout Sports Festival for the Nuba children. Dr. Eman Mohamed Hassan, head of the central administration for student activities, confirmed that the fourth sports and scouting festival for the Nuba children was held this year in Aswan Governorate, in the villages of Wadi Karkar, with the participation of 544 male and female students, explaining that the activities began during the first day with a walking march with the participation of students of different educational levels (primary, preparatory and secondary). , followed by a queue of teams participating in sports and scouting activities. During the festival, football matches were held for the primary and preparatory stages for boys, and strong games competitions (50m sprint / long jump) for the primary and preparatory stages (boys / girls), in addition to holding physical fitness tests for the two primary stages. and preparatory (boys/girls), a camp for scouts and a camp for guides for the three educational stages.

Dr. Eman Hassan added that on the sidelines of the festival, a symposium was held to discuss the most important challenges facing the city, education issues, and how to help solve them.

Hassan added that the activities of the second day have completed the football competitions (boys / girls), the pre-final qualifiers for the athletics competitions (boys / girls), physical fitness tests for boys and girls, in addition to the implementation of workshops for scouts and guides.

And she continued that the activities of the third day were concluded, all activities were concluded, the closing ceremony was held, sports performances and artistic performances were presented by the people of the city, and an exhibition of handicrafts was held for the people of the city. At the end of the festival, the students participating in the festival were honored.

It is worth mentioning that this year is the fourth year of holding the Scout Guiding Sports Festival in the Nuba villages in Aswan, where it was held in the first year in the villages of Nasr Nuba, the second year in the villages of West Sohail, and the third year in the villages of West Aswan and this year in the villages of Wadi Karkar.

The activities of the festival were attended by Abdel Karim Lotfy, director of the Education Directorate in Aswan Governorate, director of executive affairs in the governorate, director of the West Educational Administration and a number of city leaders, and Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Din Allam, director of the facilities management in the General Administration of Physical Education, in addition to members of the General Administration of Physical Education.
