Dr. Reda Hegazy:
Education is a joint national responsibility, and success in achieving its goals depends on concerted governmental and non-governmental efforts

Today, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited St. Joseph Language School affiliated to the Heliopolis Education Administration, to follow up on the regularity of the educational process.

The minister was accompanied during the visit by Ayman Moussa, Director of the Directorate of Education in Cairo, and Amal El Hawary, Director of Heliopolis Education Administration.

At the outset of the visit, the Minister congratulated the school administration, Coptic teachers and students on the occasion of Christian holidays, pointing out that private education is an essential partner in the educational process, and that education is a national and solidarity responsibility, and success in achieving its goals and upgrading depends mainly on concerted governmental and non-governmental efforts in various their levels.

During the visit, Dr. Reda Hegazy inspected classes for the second, fourth, and sixth grades of primary school, and conducted a dialogue with the students in the subjects being explained, to find out the extent to which they responded and benefited from the lessons.

The minister also inspected one of the classes of the third preparatory grade during an Arabic language class, and held a dialogue with the students about how to learn the language and take pride in it. He also inspected a class for the first secondary grade during an explanation of chemistry, where he discussed the students in the lesson.

During the Minister's inspection of the classrooms, one of the secondary school students invited the Minister to breakfast, which she designed and implemented artistically inside the school. The Minister praised her talent and encouraged her to develop and invest in it.

The minister also held a dialogue with school teachers about the new educational system, stressing the importance of focusing on achieving productive learning for knowledge, creativity and thinking, stressing the need to make efforts to improve the educational process, and develop educational performance within classes to obtain positive results.

At the end of the visit, the Minister of Education praised the good conduct of the educational process in the school, and the discipline it witnessed.
