The Ministry of Education concludes the Ramadan football tournament for the preparatory stage 2024
Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to practice all sporting activities, which contributes to building the physical, mental and health fitness of students and discovering and nurturing talents, the Ministry concluded the Ramadan Football Tournament for boys for the preparatory stage 2024 with the participation of 16 governorates, which was organized during the period from 1 to 4 This April.
This Ramadan session came under the supervision and follow-up of Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities, and the implementation of the General Administration for Physical Education led by Dr. Jihan Allam, Director General of the Administration.
The Ramadan football tournament was held in the youth city of Abu Qir in Alexandria Governorate, where the governorates were divided into four groups. The first group included the governorates of (Cairo / North Sinai / Fayoum / Port Said), and the second group included the governorates of (Qalyubia / Dakahlia / Menoufia / Qena). The third group included the governorates of (Minya / Sharqia / Kafr El-Sheikh / Luxor), while the fourth group included the governorates of (Gharbia / Beheira / Damietta / Alexandria).
In the first group, Cairo Governorate came in first place, Port Said Governorate came in second place, and as for the second group, Qalyubia Governorate came in first place, and Dakahlia Governorate came in second place, and as for the third group, Luxor Governorate came in first place, and the ranking The second is Kafr El-Sheikh, and as for the fourth group, Beheira Governorate came in first place and Alexandria in second place.
According to the announcement of the results of the Ramadan session, Luxor Governorate won first place, Qalyubia Governorate won second place, Cairo Governorate won third place, and Dakahlia Governorate won fourth place.
In her speech, at the conclusion of the tournament, Dr. Iman Hassan welcomed all the participating teams and thanked the students, mentors, and supervisors for the effective participation, stressing that all students are winners, and there is no losing team, noting that the primary goal is to consolidate the bonds of cooperation and brotherhood among students and discover talents. The winning teams were honored and given medals, and the tournament cup was handed over to Luxor Governorate.
