Today, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education concluded the closing activities of the summer camp, which is organized by the Rowad 2030 project; This was done in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, for students of the preparatory stage “Start Your Future” campaign, which was held from 14 to 17 August in Alexandria Governorate, with the aim of spreading the ideas and concepts of entrepreneurship among middle school students.
Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Administration for Kindergarten and Basic Education, said that this project is a precedent of its kind, and that the students submitted a set of useful projects, noting that the jury is joint between the two ministries and a group of experts, and one of the objectives of the competition is to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
For her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of the Rowad 2030 Project, affiliated with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, confirmed that the project is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, and the competition is to evaluate the best projects submitted by students in the summer camp, explaining that all the projects that submitted for the competition have innovative ideas, which are The product of the summer camp and the training courses on innovation and entrepreneurship, which were presented by a number of experts in this field to the students during the camp.
It is noteworthy that the goal of the camp is to maintain the sustainability of projects and ideas among students, encourage and motivate them to create innovative ideas and projects by providing them with the necessary entrepreneurial skills to develop their projects that create job opportunities in the future, in addition to personal development skills, preparing the student to become an entrepreneur in the future The camp targets middle school students and includes about 70 male and female students from different governorates of Egypt.
