Minister of Education Discusses Strengthening Partnership in Technical Education Development with El-Araby Group)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with Eng. Mohamed El-Araby, CEO of the El-Araby Group, to discuss strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the private sector to support the technical education system and align it with labor market needs.

The meeting addressed partnership mechanisms in developing technical education, exchanging expertise, and supporting student training programs. This aims to prepare qualified technical personnel with the skills required by the local and international labor market.

The two sides also discussed ways to leverage the El-Araby Group's industrial expertise in developing practical curricula and providing students with practical training opportunities within factories. They also explored the possibility of offering students internationally accredited certificates in partnership with several countries, which will enhance their employment prospects and increase their competitiveness in the job market.

In this context, the Minister explained that the Ministry is working on adding programming and artificial intelligence to the curriculum for technical education students. This aims to provide high-quality technical education with international standards, broaden students' horizons in the labor market by enabling them to obtain internationally accredited certificates, and contribute to developing students' digital skills.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation with major national industrial institutions, noting that the partnership with El-Araby Group represents a successful model for integrating education and industry. He added that it contributes to achieving the state's vision of developing and enhancing the efficiency of technical education to meet modern demands.

For his part, Engineer Mohamed El-Araby expressed the group's full readiness to support the Ministry's efforts in developing technical education and to participate in initiatives aimed at preparing a generation of qualified technicians capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and the demands of the local and international labor market. He highlighted that the El-Araby Group has various industrial and commercial partnerships with countries such as Japan, Italy, and Germany.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ayman Bahaa, Deputy Minister; Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Unit; Ahmed Roshdy, Head of the Human Resources Group; and Mahmoud Zuhair, Director of Public Relations at the company.
