The Minister of Education congratulates the student Mohamed Hani Kamal at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, extended his sincere congratulations to the student Mohamed Hani Kamal at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Dakahlia Governorate, for winning second place at the Arab world level in the "Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence Challenge" competition in its sixth session, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from October 13 to 16, 2024.
The student Mohamed Hani Kamal participated in the Online Wiz U team in the finals of the competition at the secondary school level, with the project "Advanced Smart Life Jacket" designed to enhance the chances of survival for individuals lost at sea, as it addresses a global problem that leads to the death of 320,000 people annually.
The “Egypt Internet of Things Challenge” competition is supported by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and is one of the most important competitions held in the fields related to the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. The first three winners from the fields of start-ups, graduation projects, and gifted schools qualify to represent Egypt in the Arab Challenge for the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, with the participation of 55 teams from 12 countries.
