The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announces the date for electronic submission of the first grade of primary school and the kindergarten stage
Within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education’s approach to digital transformation, reducing the burden on parents, and in preparation for the new academic year 2023/2024, and completing what was implemented during the previous years in establishing a unified electronic platform at the level of the Republic for all governorates, so that parents can through it Apply electronically for their children (Egyptian nationals) to enroll in the first grade of primary school from the first cycle of basic education for (official) schools, as well as apply online to enroll in the first grade of kindergarten for schools (official and official languages). The Ministry announces the importance of parents wishing to apply for kindergarten Or for the first grade in the primary stage in public schools, by electronic registration starting from 6/1/2023 until 6/30/2023, through the electronic application dedicated to that on the Ministry of Education and Technical Education Information Center portal through the link: emis.gov.eg
The Ministry confirmed that as soon as the child’s guardian submits to the first grade of primary school, the child’s data will be available at all payment outlets to pay the expenses, provided that the age of the child applying for the kindergarten stage is not less than (four years), and for the first grade of primary school it is not less than (six years) and not more than ( Nine years), and that students are coordinated through the educational directorates in each governorate according to their density and conditions, and in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (154) dated 6/7/1989, regarding enrollment in the schools of the Ministry of Education, in addition to that the guardian can follow up the result of the initial admission Through the same application website, and after the announcement, the guardian can go to the school to hand over the paper file of the accepted student and follow up on the position of handing over the file to the school (final admission), after the school has finished examining the paper file and making sure that it is completed.
The Ministry also clarified that during the electronic application period, schools, in the event that the guardian is unable to register electronically himself, can assist the guardian, so that the school information unit official registers the student’s desire to enroll electronically in the school, through the electronic application prepared for schools (first grade application). primary school only), and it is necessary to see the mechanized birth certificate of the advanced child, and the national number card of the guardian, and in the case of the educational state, the judicial ruling is viewed, and schools can follow up the numbers of students applying to them and their data during the application period.
The Ministry indicated that during the period from 1/7/2023 to 7/30/2023, schools will be allowed to print and download data sheets of applicants to them, so that the school’s competent committee will carry out the admission procedures in accordance with the rules governing that, provided that the school electronically registers the position ( Initial acceptance or non-acceptance of the applications submitted to join them, with the need for schools to adhere to the electronic registration of the position (delivery / non-delivery) of the guardian of the school’s application file, for the applications that were accepted in principle, and in the event that this step is not completed, the submitted application is considered unreliable .
The Ministry also indicated that primary schools (official languages) during the period from 1/7/2023 to 7/30/2023 transfer all students applying for the first grade of primary school to the central database for students, through (the electronic application form for the first grade of primary school). School officials will be subject to legal accountability in the event that all the data of students applying for the first grade of primary school are not transferred.
The Ministry indicated that with regard to applicants for kindergarten schools (official languages), after the end of the electronic application period allocated to parents, the General Administration of Central Databases delivers educational directorates a copy of the database of students applying to kindergarten schools (official languages) in each directorate through the electronic application. allocated for this on the Ministry's Information Center portal
(emis.gov.eg), to carry out the necessary procedures to coordinate students and accept them in schools, provided that the educational directorates send the admission result to students immediately upon completion and before announcing it in schools, so that the admission result can be announced to parents via the electronic platform through the official website of the Ministry.
As for the foreign students, the Ministry stated that the guardian submits the enrollment papers to the educational department, where the competent authority reviews the documents, and the schools are notified of the data of the foreign students who have been accepted, and school principals are required to register their data electronically, with the necessity of announcing it in a visible place in the schools. And the educational departments and the Directorate, for opening the door to electronic progress for the kindergarten and first grade of primary school.
