"Education" announces the winners of the talented participants in the summer activity competitions for music education at the level of the Republic

Within the framework of the interest and support of Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, in discovering and nurturing the talented and talented in all subjects and school activities, in line with the support and care of the country’s political leadership and its directives to discover, develop and nurture students’ talents on a permanent and continuous basis, the General Administration for the Development of Music Education, in cooperation with the Department, has prepared General Cultural and Artistic Activities Centers, centers for capacity development in the field of music education activities; To work throughout the summer vacation and until the beginning of the new school year.
From this point on; Several competitions were held during the summer vacation period for all educational directorates and departments at the level of the Republic, in order to encourage artistically talented students to engage in music education activities within the capacity development centers to develop students' talents, train them and raise the level of their artistic performance in the field of music education.
For her part, Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Public Education Sector, said, "These competitions are held with the aim of discovering individual talents, as training is one of the most important means to discover students' talents, know and identify their musical abilities, refine and develop them early, whether in playing or singing, noting that the Ministry of Education Education and technical education pays great attention to educational activities with the aim of creating a new generation of creative students, shaping their personalities, discovering and refining their talents, developing their skills, shaping their tendencies, desires and values, and consolidating positive behavioral values ​​and principles, in addition to developing and promoting purposeful social values.
Elham Ibrahim, Head of Services and Activities Sector, explained that the first competition is "group playing and group singing". The students participating in the activity at the center perform one choral work (of their choice) that deals with one of the following topics (national - religious - social - educational), as well as group playing work Students participate in the performance of all educational levels,
The second competition is “Individual creativity in playing or singing.” Each center participates with at least 5 students of individual talents, and it includes solo playing or solo singing. Singing is a lyrical act (patriotic - religious - social - educational).

She stressed that the "empty schools" competition is attended by schools that do not have music education teachers for any reason (empty schools) in the belief of the ministry in the importance of the morning assembly, loyalty and belonging to the homeland, stressing the need to pay attention to the participation of students of empty schools in this competition so that their number is not less than four. Students from different levels of schools without music education teachers, and they are trained on the morning assembly paragraphs (national anthem - flag salutation march - students leaving for classes).
Abeer Adly, Director General of Music Education Development, indicated that these competitions are subject to the arbitration system locally, where the general director (or the person in charge or the supervisor of the material) forms a specialized technical committee headed by him. Those who have integrity and transparency to choose the winning centers at the directorate level, and send the winning works to the Office of the Director General of Music Education Development through the (Microsoft teams) website.
She pointed out that the results of the competitions were announced at the level of the Republic, where Gharbia Governorate (west of Tanta) won first place at the level of the Republic in the group singing competition, Port Said governorate won first place in the group playing competition, and Marsa Matrouh governorate won first place in the empty schools competition. And (The Dome Gardens Department) in Cairo Governorate won the individual talent competition.
