The Minister of Education chairs the meeting of the members of the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers at the level of the Republic; To discuss a number of different educational issues, at the Ministry's general office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the members of the council, stressing that the council is the legitimate representative of the opinions of parents and teachers, praising their role in overcoming many problems of the educational process and the efforts made to make the new education system a success.
Hegazy said, "We seek to develop the educational process, develop the skills of teachers, and work to provide a distinguished educational system that will achieve the goals of sustainable development."
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the measures taken by the ministry to develop the educational system, as the ministry aimed to return students to school, integrate technology into education and allocate a day for artistic, sports and cultural activities in cooperation with the ministries of youth, sports and culture.
The Minister directed the members of the Council to launch initiatives that would define the rights and duties of all parties to the educational system, and transform these initiatives into a work charter, whether for members of boards of trustees, or for teachers and parents.
The council discussed many issues, the most important of which is activating the council’s role in schools, communicating with parents, and raising awareness of the ministry’s efforts, which primarily aim to preserve the students’ right to obtain an educational service worthy of them, as well as discuss many other issues.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Iman Hassan, Executive Director of the Council and Head of the Central Department for Student Activities, Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Department for Curriculum Development, Counselor Ashraf Sayed, Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Education, and Abdel Raouf Allam, President of the Supreme Council of Trustees, parents, teachers and members of the Council in various governorates.
