Today, Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met Khalaf Al-Zanati, the Syndicate of Teachers and the President of the Arab Teachers Union, and his accompanying delegation of members of the Syndicate's office, at the Ministry's general office to discuss a number of common files.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hijazi welcomed the attendees, stressing that the ministry and the teachers’ union are two sides of the same coin, noting that the teacher is the main pillar in developing and activating the educational process, as there is no development without upgrading the teacher’s performance, and training him to be able to deliver information to the student and enable him to Performing tasks according to the curriculum.
The minister added that today's meeting is a continuation of the joint cooperation between the ministry and the teachers' union in dealing with all files related to teachers, noting that he will spare no effort to serve teachers during the coming period.
Khalaf Al-Zanati, head of the Teachers Syndicate and President of the Arab Teachers Union, conveyed the congratulations of the Syndicate Council to Dr. Reda Hegazy on his assumption of the position of Minister of Education and Technical Education, stressing that the union looks forward to cooperating with the Ministry in solving all problems facing the educational process.
Al-Zanati explained that the union is the home of teachers and their platform in communicating with all entities and institutions, and we seek, during the coming period, to continue cooperation with the ministry in various files.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development, Dr. Sherine Hamdi, Adviser to the Minister for Administrative Development and Supervisor of Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, and from the Teachers Syndicate, Mr. Mohamed Abdullah, Secretary-General, Ibrahim Shaheen, Senior Undersecretary of the General Union of Teachers, Yasser Arafat, Treasurer, and Ahmed Shaaban Al-Amin The assistant general, and a number of members of the union office.
