The Minister of Education meets with the President of "Takatuf for Development

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with Dr. Hossam Badrawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Takatof Development Association, at the Ministry’s General Office, to discuss the report of reviewing textbooks for the different educational stages to ensure that they are free from extremism and inequality and include the rejection of violence and racism. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Mireille Nassim Al-Rais Executive of the association.

Dr. Reda Hegazy affirmed the Ministry's continued efforts to develop curricula and its reflection on educational books, providing school libraries with books that promote belief in human rights and equality between men and women, and striving towards forming a different educational environment that does not allow extremism to find its way into our educational institutions.

For his part, Dr. Hossam Badrawi indicated the willingness of the Takatof Association to cooperate with the ministry and to continue developing schools and nurseries, as the association has so far handed over 28 schools to the ministry, training its teachers and taking care of its children.
