Minister of Education and the Governor of Al Sharqiya hold a meeting with leaders and directors
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharqia, held a meeting with education leaders and directors of educational departments, at the governorate’s office. To determine the procedures related to the discipline and regularity of the school year, and to implement the tasks and instructions regulating the educational process.
This came in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Muti, Deputy Governor of Sharqia, Major General Yousry Al-Deeb, Head of the Educational Buildings Authority, Engineer Muhammad Fouad Al-Rashidi, Director of the Directorate of Education in Sharqia, Major General Al-Saeed Abdel Muti, Advisor to the Governor for Projects, Engineer Sami Mujil, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, and a number of educational and executive leaders in the Governorate.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, stressing his keenness to attend these meetings that enhance ensuring the achievement of the goals of the educational process at the republic level.
Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed the necessity of developing the spirit of loyalty and belonging to students, and exercising rights and citizenship, as citizenship, loyalty and belonging are educational goals, noting that the program “Activating the role of the school in promoting community awareness and citizenship values among students” will be launched tomorrow, which targets school principals and teachers. Social workers, heads of the boards of trustees of educational departments, and the secretary of the Student Union in the educational administration. It includes raising awareness of national projects and the achievements of the Egyptian state, the meaning of citizenship, and the exercise of rights, as well as the trainees implementing an executive plan to implement what was trained on.
The Minister also stressed the important role of the school principal in developing the school, and thus developing the educational process, directing to maximize the use of new principals of competent and distinguished young teachers within the framework of the presidential initiative “1000 School Principals”, who were given comprehensive training for a period of 6 months, and those who passed were granted This program includes a diploma in educational leadership and national security, which in turn paves the way for work in school administration, directed to providing all means of support to them and making the most of their abilities and ideas.
The Minister said that the Ministry is working on many axes, implementing measures that ensure achieving a disciplined and safe academic year and lifting the burden on students and Egyptian families, including school support groups. He directed that all means of support be provided to students in these groups, and to communicate with parents. To monitor the student’s academic level and maximize the benefit from these groups.
In order to provide the opportunity to achieve the maximum levels of academic achievement for students, the Minister directed the need for the Directorate of Education and educational departments to familiarize students in various schools in the governorate with the educational and training materials that the Ministry made available for free on its official website, adding that to enrich the learning process, these materials were provided with tests on each unit of study. The student solves it and his performance can be evaluated through it.
The Minister continued that the Ministry sought the help of qualified teachers known throughout the Republic. To explain educational lessons and curricula on educational channels and platforms, and to make these lessons available on “Our School” channels and live broadcast platforms, also directed at making the most of the viewing periods for “Our School” channels in schools.
The Minister also reassured the Education Directorate’s plan to prepare for the preparatory certificate exams, as they will be held in the governorate according to the usual system like last year and not the Bucket system, stressing the need to take all measures related to the regular conduct of exams and the prevention of cheating.
For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharqia, welcomed Dr. Reda Hegazy, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Education, led by Dr. Reda Hegazy, to develop and improve the education system, and its continuous follow-up throughout the school year in all governorates, and to overcome any obstacles in order to come out with a disciplined and distinguished school year, and to provide service. Distinctive education for students at different stages of education.
The governor thanked the minister for his visit to the governorate, which will contribute to motivating those in charge of the educational process there to work seriously and sincerely for the future of this country.
