Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital today, Wednesday, with the leaders of the Central Administration for Teachers' Affairs to discuss the report on the achievements of the Central Administration for Teachers' Affairs and its efforts during the last period.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, stressing that the teacher is one of the main axes for developing the educational process, and that the Ministry is working to develop him professionally and provide him with new skills in light of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the provision of a distinguished educational system to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the efforts and achievements of the departments affiliated to the Central Administration for Teachers' Affairs, which include the Department of Professional Affairs for Teachers, the General Administration of Educational Leaders, the Support and Communication Department, and the Secondment Department, where each department reviewed its most important achievements and the efforts that were implemented during the last period. .
The meeting touched on the mechanisms for training leaders, listing the needs for training, selecting leaders, empowering competencies, developing their skills and abilities, preparing periodic reports on the implemented training plans, in accordance with the objectives of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, criteria for nominating trainers, listing training halls, and preparing a database in The training system includes training packages, trainers, training venues, and implemented training programmes, as well as measuring the return on training for trainees and measuring the impact of training.
All files related to teachers' affairs were also discussed, whether with regard to transferring teachers between governorates, examining their requests after the approval of the competent authority, using e-mail to respond to inquiries from directorates, and working to solve problems related to teachers through holding workshops between departments, in addition to coordinating directorates. And holding committees to solve these problems, developing communication and support mechanisms for the development of human resources, and conducting statistics that include problems, proposals and inquiries for teachers in all educational directorates.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy directed the preparation of an ambitious executive plan for each department for the next three months, in light of its job description, for continuous follow-up and identification of its priorities and implementation mechanisms.
