The Minister of Education Continues His Inspection Tour with a Visit to  the Tebin Educational)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, continued his inspection tour today with a surprise visit to two schools in the Tebin Educational Administration in Cairo Governorate. This visit is part of his ongoing field tours to monitor the progress of studies and ensure the smooth operation of the educational process.

Minister Abdel Latif visited Amr Ibn Al-Aas Primary School, which has 2,737 students. He inspected several classrooms, reviewed student attendance rates, lesson notebooks, homework, and the mechanisms for implementing weekly assessments. He also assessed the students' reading and writing skills.

During his visit, the Minister emphasized the importance of paying attention to painting and maintaining school furniture. He affirmed that the school would be monitored regularly to ensure a suitable learning environment for the students.

The Minister also visited Ali Ibn Abi Talib Secondary School for Boys, which has 1,020 students. He toured several classrooms and held an open dialogue with first-year secondary students about the Egyptian Baccalaureate system. He explained that the system provides students with multiple testing opportunities and diverse educational pathways to develop their critical thinking and research skills. He further clarified that the Baccalaureate certificate equips students with advanced educational tools that better prepare them for university studies.

The Minister also discussed the programming and artificial intelligence curriculum, which is part of the updated curriculum, with the students. He listened to their feedback on the "Kirio" educational platform and their understanding of it. The students confirmed the ease of the content, its suitability to their abilities, and their ability to complete advanced levels on the platform.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized that the Ministry is working to enhance students' programming language skills, foster a spirit of innovation, and promote the use of modern digital tools. He explained that artificial intelligence skills have become among the most in-demand skills globally, and that integrating them into the curriculum represents a pivotal step in developing Egyptian education and equipping students with the skills of the future.

During his tour of the school, the minister stressed the need to improve the school environment, emphasizing the importance of providing a stimulating learning environment for students. He also directed that student desks be updated and school furniture be maintained regularly, ensuring student safety and contributing to raising the efficiency of the educational process.
