Education announces the date and conditions for students' enrollment in applied technology schools

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has announced the conditions for admission to applied technology schools for students who have obtained a preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, in preparation for opening the application for students in July 2021, through the official website of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, said that the ministry is making a lot of effort to maintain the educational process and continue developing education in Egypt to achieve the strategic vision for Education 2030, which aims to provide education and training for all with high quality without discrimination, and to prepare a graduate who is able to think and is technically and technically capable. and technology, in addition to fully qualifying students to keep pace with the requirements and skills of the twenty-first century in line with global developments.
Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, added that the applied technology schools, within only 3 years from the date of their launch, have received a lot of students to enroll in them. In one academic year, about 20,000 students apply to join the applied technology schools, to be selected No more than 4,000 male and female students who meet the conditions and pass the admission tests set by the Applied Technology Schools Operation and Management Unit and personal interviews are subject to students and held by a joint committee between representatives of the unit and representatives of industrial partners in each school.
Mujahid continued that the schools of applied technology offer many advantages to their students, in addition to their application of curricula based on the merit system and taught by highly qualified teachers. Students of the schools of applied technology get many advantages such as obtaining an Egyptian certificate of international quality upon graduation, And practical training during the study period in the factories and companies of the industrial partner, in addition to opportunities for appointment in the companies and factories of the industrial partner after graduation, and financial rewards during the period of practical training, and Mujahid concluded by stressing that all the applied technology schools, which numbered so far, 21 schools in 7 different governorates, are free government schools. .
In a related context, Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education, and Director of the Operation and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, explained the conditions for joining each of the Applied Technology Schools:
1- El-Araby School for Applied Technology. It is possible to apply for boys from the Quesna administration in Menoufia Governorate and the Benha administration in Qalyubia Governorate, and the applicant must have a total of no less than 230 in the preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, and not be more than 18 years old on the first of October 2021
2- Imam Muhammad Metwally Al Shaarawy School for Applied Technology. It is possible to apply for boys and girls from the governorates of Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia), and the applicant must have a total of no less than 230 in the preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, and not be more than 18 years old. 3- School of Applied Technology of Mechatronics. 4- Martyr Ahmed Talib Hotel School for Applied Technology. 7- Al-Suwaidi School of Applied Technology. It is possible to apply for boys from Sharkia Governorate, and the applicant must have a total of at least 250 in the preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, and not be more than 18 years old on the first of October 2021.
8- Egypt Gold School of Applied Technology, it is available to apply for boys and girls from the governorates of Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia), and the applicant must have a total of no less than 250 in the preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, and not be more than 18 years old in October 1, 2021.
9- I-Tech School of Applied Technology, it is available to apply for boys and girls from the governorates of Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia), and the applicant must have a total of at least 250 in the preparatory certificate for the academic year 2020-2021, and not be more than 18 years old.
