18,555 male and female students take the Arabic language exam on the first day of the high school exams (second round)

The exams for the second round of the general secondary school completion certificate for the current academic year 2020/2021 were launched this morning, as 18,555 students took the exam in Arabic language in the two divisions (scientific and literary) and integration students, and (6) blind students took an exam The Arabic language (first paper), within 338 traffic committees at the level of the Republic.
Before the start of the exam, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs and Vice President of the Examination, was keen to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operating rooms, and reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates, directed to abide by the Ministry’s instructions, preventive measures and precautionary measures in the examination committees before and during exams to ensure the regularity of the conduct of exams, and to take all measures to ensure a calm and safe environment for students during the exam period.
He added that the atmosphere of the exam during the first day went well and disciplined and without any problems; Where the Central Operations Room, before the start of the exam, made sure that the question papers had reached all exam committees in the governorates, and that all stages of work with the high school exams were fully secured, starting with the printing of questions, “Babel Sheet” and passing through their transfer to the question paper distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and committees system and control.
Dr. Reda Hijazi instructed to prevent the entry of the members who organized the exams to the committees, and only the governor and the director of the directorate had the right to enter.
The Central Operations Room of the Ministry of Education received several observations, where the anti-fraud team monitored (3) fraud cases, as follows:
- Sohag Governorate, where the student (AHA) was arrested after using a hacked tablet device to publish part of the exam questions on the Internet. The used device was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Cairo Governorate, where the student (A.H. A.) was arrested after using a mobile phone to publish part of the exam questions on the Internet. The used phone was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
- Cairo Governorate, where the student (TA) was arrested after using a hacked tablet to publish part of the exam questions online. The used tablet was seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned student.
It is worth noting that on Sunday, September 5, 2021, high school students (scientific and literary section) will take the second foreign language exam with a total of 27,141 male/female students, and high school students (the blind) will take the Arabic language exam (second paper) with a total number of ( 6) Student.
