"Education" addresses the educational directorates regarding the mechanisms of the first semester exams for the first and second grades of secondary school

In light of the preparations for the exams for the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023 for the first and second grades of general secondary school, the Ministry sent a letter to the directors of the directorates regarding the mechanisms for holding the exams, which are scheduled to be in the period from January 14 to 26, 2023.
The letter stipulated the need to prepare exam schedules for the first and second grades of secondary school at the level of the directorate, and exams are held at the level of the educational administration through the first subject prompt with the support of the Department of Technological Development in the administration according to the periodic book (49), provided that the examination paper includes choice questions. 85% of multiple questions and 15% of short essay questions.
The letter also stipulates that exams will be performed as follows:
For students of public schools, services and private schools who received tablets and their schools are connected to the Internet, they are tested for multiple-choice questions by 85% electronically on tablets and essay questions by 15% in paper, and the exam is whether (tablets - essay questions) at one time , which is the time specified for the exam, indicating that in the event of any technical problems in any subject, the paper exam for this subject will be performed at the same exam date specified in the schedule.
For students of public schools, services and private schools who are in schools not connected to the Internet, or students who did not receive tablets in schools with an Internet network, as well as home students, they are taken for paper exams in all subjects.
- The paper exam is the same as the electronic exam, and each school undertakes the correction process and issues the result after presenting it to the Director General of the Education Department.
Examinations for students of educational integration are held on paper at the same dates as their peers, according to the technical specifications of the examination paper for each disability, as was the case in previous years.
Examinations for subjects that are not added to the total total are held, as was the case in previous years.
