The Minister of Education and Technical Education discusses with the Japanese Ambassador the promotion of joint cooperation
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with the Ambassador of Japan in Cairo, Oka Hiroshi; To discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in education and to discuss increasing the number of Egyptian-Japanese schools.
The minister welcomed the attendees, stressing the distinguished relations between Egypt and Japan in the fields of education, which resulted in many joint projects.
Hegazy explained that the experience of the Egyptian-Japanese schools has three main advantages; It is that the essence of Japanese education lies in the integrated personality of the child, which is also consistent with the goal of the new education system, as it is concerned with developing students' scholastic abilities and developing morals in order to raise generations that abide by rules and laws, and respect the feelings of others. The group learning formula develops communication skills with others.
He pointed out that the political leadership directed an increase in the number of Egyptian-Japanese schools during the coming period, pointing out that the essence of Japanese education is compatible with the development system in Egypt, and this is the basis for the implementation of the Egyptian-Japanese school project.
For his part, the Japanese ambassador welcomed the support for joint cooperation with Egypt, the transfer of Japanese experiences in the field of education and the strengthening of the strong partnership between the two countries, stressing Japan's pride in the experience of Egyptian-Japanese schools and working to increase their numbers in the future.
He added that Japan is concerned with the human element in education, selecting the best students and providing them with practical training that achieves the highest level of qualification.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Nevin Hammouda, the minister's advisor for strategic relations and supervisor of the Egyptian-Japanese schools, and Dr. Hanim Ahmed, the minister's advisor for international cooperation.
