The Minister of Education conducts a surprise inspection visit to several schools in the Mataria
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour of the "Martyr Essam Mohamed Tamim Elementary School", formerly Mataria Modern School, the Martyr Mustafa Sayed Fouad School (formerly Al-Rashad), and Abdullah Al-Nadim Elementary School" affiliated to the Mataria Education Administration in Cairo Governorate to follow up on the educational system in them and the smooth running of the 2024/2025 academic year, and to monitor the extent of implementing the instructions and adhering to the decisions regulating the educational process.
The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif began his inspection tour at the "Martyr Essam Mohamed Tamim Elementary School", which includes 999 male and female students, where he inspected the first, second and third grade classes, and followed up on the attendance and absence rates of students, stressing the importance of adhering to the implementation of the educational incentive and school discipline regulations.
The Minister also followed up The level of students in reading, the class notebook and homework, where the school principal directed to focus on following up on the level of students in reading and writing and preparing treatment programs for weak readers, and he also directed to send follow-up committees from the ministry to the school to follow up on the performance of the educational process in the school.
The Minister also inspected the "Martyr Conscript Mustafa Sayed Fouad (formerly Al-Rashad)" Preparatory School for Boys, which includes 2291 students, where the Minister followed up on the students' performance of the weekly assessments, directing the school principal to continuously follow up on all mechanisms related to the year's work and the regularity of students' performance of the weekly assessments.
Following that, the Minister headed to inspect the "Abdullah Al-Nadim Elementary School", which includes 1693 male and female students, where the Minister was keen to follow up on the various mechanisms for implementing the year's work, and he also conducted a dialogue with a number of students about their academic performance and the extent to which they benefited from the explanation in the class.
At the end of the tour, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif directed to intensify the sending of follow-up committees to all schools in the Matariya Education Administration to follow up on the discipline of the educational process in it and monitor any challenges that hinder the implementation of the announced mechanisms and decisions and find quick solutions to them.
The Minister also met with a number of parents in front of Abdullah Al-Nadim Elementary School and listened to their opinions about the performance of teachers at the school, stressing that he and the Ministry’s leaders regularly follow up on the educational process in various schools in the Republic.
