The Minister of Education and Technical Education reviews ways to complete the educational content for the first semester during the coming period

Dr. Tariq Shawky:

Postponing all examinations until after the end of the mid-year vacation, if conditions are stabilized internally due to the spread of the Corona pandemic

Suspending students' attendance in schools from January 2 to February 20 to avoid the peak period of the virus

- Complete the study and the continuation of completing the academic content without deletions

- Our school channels are available for students who are unable to connect to the Internet .. and live broadcast platforms for students on the Internet

Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a press conference today, at the Ministry’s general office, to explain how to complete the educational content of the first semester and prepare for the exams for the transfer and preparatory classes, the first and second secondary grades, and related topics.

Dr. Tarek Shawky emphasized that the Egyptian state has always emphasized its keenness on the safety of all members of the educational system for our children in the first place, then teachers, administrators and all workers in the educational system and all the Egyptian people.

Dr. Tariq Shawky announced a package of solutions in the interest of the health and safety of all members of the educational process, including students, faculty members, and teachers, and they are as follows:

- In accordance with the directions of the President to amend the timetable in a way that allows the continuation of the work of the school year and at the same time not exposing all members of the system to danger, it was decided to cancel attendance in schools of all kinds starting from January 2, 2021 until the beginning of the mid-year rent, which will start from January 16 until February 20 2021.

- The postponement of all the exams that were scheduled to be held in this semester (paper, practical, and electronic) until after the end of the mid-year vacation, if conditions were stabilized internally due to the spread of the Corona pandemic, while applying this to all types of education and its different levels.

- To complete the teaching of the curriculum starting from next Saturday, January 2, 2021, and until the end of the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, in the distance education system, with fulfilling the basic requirements and obtaining the minimum standards for completing the curriculum without any deletions from the curriculum.

Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, confirmed that the ministry has invested in many educational means during the last period, beginning with the spread of the Corona pandemic, including:

- Our school channels (Our School 1, Our School 2):

A group of channels launched by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to broadcast educational lessons for the various educational stages according to a weekly broadcast schedule to be announced starting from the current academic year 2020/2021, in addition to the educational channels broadcast by the specialized channels sector, and these channels are broadcast by satellite and via broadcast The ground, and announcing the weekly broadcast schedule on the ministry's Facebook page and the official website of the Ministry of Education.

- Launching the "E-Quota Platform" https://www.hesas.eg

It provides new learning methods and a seamless explanation of the curriculum in an interactive and fun way online, provided by expert teachers in their field, in addition to questions on each lesson that support the new evaluation system for the secondary stage, and the platform contains multiple educational resources from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

The main source of study for high school students, as it includes interactive digital content linked to the curriculum to help the student understand better, and to know the learning outcomes available in each lesson through interactive content that includes texts, articles, drawings, pictures and videos for each topic or lesson in the curriculum, in addition to Exercises that help the student evaluate his / her understanding of the topic and correct mistakes.

Which includes digital scientific content for all educational levels in multimedia (video - pictures - documentaries), as well as making more than 80 dictionaries and glossaries for use, Butterfly Encyclopedia books, and multidisciplinary content for the years of the new education system.

- Edmodo.org communication platform

It is a platform launched by the Ministry to communicate between students and teachers remotely, as nearly 22 million students distributed among nearly 55 thousand schools were able to communicate with the teacher as if he was in school, in order to explain educational lessons, answer student inquiries, and hand over research projects.

- Virtual Stake Live Streaming platform https://stream.moe.gov.eg

It is a platform launched by the Ministry to broadcast reviews of high school students and technical diplomas during the 2019/2020 academic year, prior to the high school certificate exams and technical diplomas.

- The Ministry of Education channel on YouTube

It is a channel dedicated to broadcasting educational materials for all educational levels via YouTube.

The Egyptian education platform eduhub.moe.gov.eg launched

It is a platform launched by the Ministry to clarify the methods of using the educational platforms announced by the Ministry, while explaining the methods of using each platform on its own, and providing a comprehensive guide for our students to complete the educational process.

Dr. Tariq Shawky added that investing in these platforms allows us to complete the school year and the students benefit from them, as for high school students, they have tablets and chips to access the Internet, and they have an educational TV channel in addition to a learning platform on the tablet and they have an ADMOMODO platform and e-lessons to complete the academic year. From home without trash.
