The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced that 3 teachers have reached the final stage of the "Mohamed bin Zayed for the Best Gulf Teacher" award, in its third session, in which Egypt will participate this year.

Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, launched the "Mohamed Bin Zayed for Best Gulf Teacher" award in Egypt last November, in the presence of Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Darmaki, Secretary General of the award.

The Mohammed Bin Zayed Prize for the Best Gulf Teacher approved, during the virtual meeting of the members of the Supreme Committee, which was held recently, the final results of the third session of the award, in preparation for announcing the winners soon, as well as discussing a set of issues that are concerned with formulating the foundations for the development and leadership of the award, and reviewing the efforts that have been made. And future plans for development and intonation, to achieve its educational goals.

His Excellency Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education in the United Arab Emirates and the general supervisor of the award, stressed in the meeting the importance of the award and the efforts made to consolidate the role of the award in the Arab world. With the participation of a group of residents from different countries.

He stressed the importance of encouraging teachers to participate in the award, especially those with distinguished initiatives and practices that serve the educational field, in order to empower them and build sustainable educational strategies that ensure our educational systems are globally competitive, which will positively affect the educational process outcomes.


For his part, Dr. Hamad Al Darmaki, Secretary General of the Mohammed bin Zayed Prize for the Best Gulf Teacher, reviewed the final report of the third session 2019-2020, which included the efforts made by the award management and the coordinators of the participating countries, as well as the participants ’statistics and the results of the final list of distinguished teachers In addition to the mechanism of the award's work in the fourth session, which will be disclosed after announcing the winners.


He stressed that the award in its current session faced many unprecedented challenges due to the health situation, but with the support of the rational leadership and proactive work, it succeeded in overcoming it, and harnessing technology to continue the award to its various stages, and intensify its promotion to reach teachers in every area to push them to participate and empower them. And explaining their influential educational role at the school level, to honor the distinguished and the tenderers among them.
