“Education”: The registration of teachers nominated for promotion for the year 2020/2021 will start next Saturday

In the framework of the directives of Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry announced the start of registration of teachers nominated for promotion for the year 2020/2021, who number more than 70,000 seventy thousand teachers, on Saturday, 26/2/2022, through the “Teacher” platform. Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs, said that the ministry, led by Dr. Tariq Shawky, succeeded in obtaining the government’s approval, excluding teachers from the decision to stop promotions, noting that the promotion file for teachers nominated for promotion for the year 2020/2021 has been developed and digitized, whose number is more than 70,000 teachers, in order to facilitate the targeted teachers for promotion by making the “teacher” platform available for remote training of the Professional Academy of Teachers for the digital program, to obtain a certificate of validity in its two parts (teacher and first teacher) and (first teacher and expert teacher).
He added that the Academy's General Information Administration has designed the digital program for professional empowerment of teachers nominated for promotion 2020-2021, according to the training packages and educational activities that were previously prepared by specialists in the Professional Academy for Teachers and some experts from educators and university professors that were hired.
The Professional Academy of Teachers appeals to members of the Education Authority to register and book the dates specified in the schedule attached to the statement, in order to facilitate the targeted teachers, and the importance of reading the instructions on the platform and communicating with the technical support of the academy branch in his governorate in case they encounter any difficulties.
