In its new formation, the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers discusses analyzing the current situation of the boards of trustees and maximizing benefit
In light of the decision of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education to form the new Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers, as the legitimate representative of the opinions of parents and teachers, and to achieve the ministry’s strategy to develop the educational system, the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers held a meeting headed by Abdel Raouf Allam, and in the presence of the office body: Dr. Tarek Emara, Vice President, Dr. Iman Mohamed Hassan, Executive Director, Abdel Rahman Saleh, Financial Controller, and Dr. Amr El Desouky, Secretary of the Board.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Iman Hassan congratulated the council chairman and members for the confidence of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and presented the new composition of the council.
During the meeting, Abdel Raouf Allam gave a detailed presentation of the council’s vision and action plan for the coming period, stressing that the council’s vision stems from a well-established fact represented in the political leadership’s belief that education is an inherent right of every Egyptian citizen, as expressed by the Egyptian constitution.
Allam said: "The council seeks to provide all possible means of support to the executive leaders, in the belief that education is the state's gateway to development and the realization of Egypt's Vision 2030, and that this is reflected in the unlimited support of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to build a new educational system that achieves hopes." and the ambitions of the new republic, noting that the council affirms its confidence in the goals of the strategy of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to advance the educational process.
Allam emphasized that the Office of the Supreme Council of Trustees, parents and teachers were tasked with analyzing the current situation with regard to boards of trustees at the level of educational departments and directorates and even at the school level, and to indicate strengths; To maximize their use, and indicate weaknesses to address them.
Allam stressed the need to communicate with parents from outside the formations of the boards of trustees to find out the problems they face and work to solve them, pointing out that the Supreme Council of Trustees, parents and teachers launched two numbers through the WhatsApp application to receive and resolve complaints, with the launch of a website that is a voice for parents. And teachers and students, and publishes the activities and activities of the boards of trustees at the level of the Republic, with the launch of an official page on the Facebook site of the Supreme Council of Trustees, parents and teachers to be a voice for parents.
For his part, Dr. Tariq Emara stressed the need to activate the role of boards of trustees and focus on paying attention to committees specializing in supporting the educational process, activities, community participation and maintenance.
With its new formation, the Board of Trustees, Parents and Teachers aims to be as trustworthy as Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and works to stabilize the educational process, and for the council to play its role as a link between those responsible for educational administration at all levels and between teachers, students and parents Working hard on the ground in schools to solve various problems.
It also aims to consolidate the principle of partnership between boards of trustees with the administration responsible for the educational process and executive officials, and seeks to maximize the use of social networking sites in reaching parents who support the educational process and the new education system.

The council also aims to raise public opinion about the value of the new curricula for the first grades, introduce the educational objectives of the new examination system, restore trust between the student and his teacher in the classroom, and restore trust between the family and the school.
The Council is responsible for launching initiatives that define the rights and duties of all parties to the educational system, bring the parties together in the educational process on the ground, and transform these initiatives into a work charter, whether for members of boards of trustees or for teachers and parents.
On the sidelines of the meeting, members of the Supreme Council of Trustees, parents and teachers visited the Armed Forces Club Museum in Zamalek, which includes the July 23 Revolution Leadership Council, the June 30 Revolution Building, Orabi Restaurant, the Historical Library, and the office of the late Field Marshal Abdel Hakim Amer.
