This morning, high school students, in its literary and scientific divisions, took the exam for the first round of the general secondary school completion certificate for the current academic year 2022/2023, in the Arabic language subject, with a total number of (728,439) thousand male / female students, in front of (2097) exam committees nationwide. Also, a number of (1179) students from STEM Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology performed the university admission readiness test (Arabic language) in the first period, and the conceptual measures test (Arabic language) in the second period, while (255) students from among the students performed Schools for the Blind Arabic Language Exam (Second Paper).

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education and Head of the General Secondary Examinations, during his visit to Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, was keen to follow up the general secondary exams (first round) through video conferencing technology in the governorate’s general office, as he was assured of the progress of the examination process in all governorates.

Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Combating Educational Dropout and Vice President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen, before the start of the exam, to communicate with all the directors of the educational directorates present in the local operations rooms, and also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of traffic committees in all governorates.

During the third day of the exams, the exam atmosphere went well and in a disciplined manner, without the occurrence of any problems that would disturb the exam process. Conducting the exam in all governorates.

Through the Central Operations Room’s follow-up of the exams’ progress in all governorates, the members of the electronic fraud control team were able to monitor (5) cases of electronic fraud in the governorates (Cairo, Eastern, Western, Qena, and Matrouh) half an hour after the start of the exam, where they were caught These students, when they cheated by using a mobile phone, published parts of the Arabic language exam questions through social networking sites, and the used mobile phones were seized, and case reports were made with the exact facts, and the necessary legal measures were taken towards the students who were caught, and the decision was implemented. Ministerial No. (34) of 2018 regarding regulating the conditions for exam cancellation and denial thereof, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of breaching exams.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education renews its emphasis on students not using any of the various means of cheating, emphasizing that any attempts to cheat are addressed, and that legal measures are taken regarding any violations that occur in exams.

It is worth noting that high school students, in its literary and scientific divisions (first round), take the exam in the second foreign language subject on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. STEM students take the readiness test for university admission (English), while students from schools for the blind take the language exam. The first foreign (first paper).
