The Minister of Education follows up on the high school exams
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, was keen to follow up on the progress of the general secondary school exams, first round, through the Ministry’s central operations room, where students in the scientific section take the exam in chemistry, and students in the literary section take the exam in geography.
This came in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, Head of the General Secondary Examinations, and Mohsen Abdel Aziz, Deputy Head of the General Examinations.
Before the start of the exam, the Minister was assured of communicating with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operating rooms. He was also assured of the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior. To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates, and for the question papers to reach the Minister and the Directorates of Education.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif directed the directors of the directorates to make more efforts to control and regularize the conduct of the exams. The Minister also thanked all participants in the central operations room for the efforts made to ensure the continuation of procedures for the regular functioning of the committees, stressing that the interests of students and providing all means of comfort for them are a top priority.
The Minister of Education was keen to visit the technical committee room responsible for reviewing question papers and answer forms for exams to ensure they were reviewed before starting the marking process.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Daher directed, before the start of the exams today, to ensure that the heads of the committees review the cameras inside the committees before the start and after the completion of the exam, and to take into account the distribution of questions on time at the beginning of the exam, and not to delay the distribution of the question paper, and implement the inspection with all strictness, and enter Students committees and their entry on time.
