An agreement was signed between the Ministry of Education and "Sprix"
As part of the memorandum of understanding signed by Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and the Japanese company "Sprix" on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), the two parties agreed to implement a specialized program in information and communications technology (ICT) and programming for fourth and fifth grade primary school students in Egyptian-Japanese schools.
Ms. Nevine Hamouda, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Relations and Supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese Schools, stated that the program, which will be implemented through the "Kururio Junior" application, aims to teach the basics of programming in an easy and enjoyable practical way, helping to consolidate understanding and creativity among students. It will be implemented starting from the 2025/2026 academic year in Egyptian-Japanese schools.
The launch of a new mathematics support program (SPL) for all students in Egyptian-Japanese schools was also discussed. This program relies on artificial intelligence to analyze each student's individual level, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide personalized support to ensure effective improvement of academic performance. This comes within the framework of the close cooperation and partnership between Egypt and Japan in the field of education, reflecting the Ministry's commitment to adopting innovative educational solutions that contribute to developing students' capabilities and skills.
