The Minister of Education directs the educational directorates to organize free final examinations)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued Circular No. (13) dated April 15, 2024 regarding organizing free final examinations for students of the middle and high school certificates, in light of the Ministry’s efforts to support and develop the pre-university education system, and to provide distinguished educational and training services to our students. Based on the Ministry’s inherent responsibility to fairly enable all students to achieve learning outcomes at all levels and alleviate the burden on Egyptian families.

The periodic book stipulates that the directors of the directorates of education in all governorates are assigned to organize and implement free, combined final reviews for male and female students in the third year of middle school and third year of secondary school, after the completion of teaching the curricula according to the academic time map by the end of this month of April, while providing the governors with achievement reports on a regular basis. These reviews should be carried out during the school day.

In this context, Dr. Reda Hegazy directed the formation of teams of distinguished teachers who are recognized for their competence to teach these revisions to the two aforementioned grades, in coordination with the Central Administration of Public Education, and to identify the locations that are suitable for the revisions in terms of absorptive capacity and geographical suitability, and prepare them with the required equipment, with a maximum of ( 3) Headquarters in each educational administration, and the subject instructors in the educational departments develop training exam models under the supervision of the subject instructors in the educational directorates to train students on them during the reviews, in addition to setting regular schedules for the reviews at the directorate level, while creating the appropriate and supportive environment for the success of the reviews. To achieve the maximum benefit for students, send approved transcripts with the names of attending students to their original schools.

The Minister also directed the commitment to submit a comprehensive daily report on the progress of reviews in each educational directorate. Including all the details and statistics indicating the number of students benefiting, supported by documentary photos and videos, to the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs and affiliated entities, in addition to identifying distinguished teachers at the level of each directorate, based on reports and statistics related to the reviews, in coordination with the Central Administration for Public Education.

The periodic book also stipulates that the Central Administration of Public Education will follow up on field implementation procedures, in addition to the directors of the directorates of education in the governorates submitting the stipulated review schedules with the required quality, within three days from the date of implementation of this periodic book, provided that the final reviews begin after the completion of Teaching the curricula according to the academic time map by the end of this April.

The circular also stipulated that the directors of the directorates and directors of educational departments in all education directorates and the competent departments in the Ministry’s General Office are committed to implementing all the provisions contained in the circular as soon as possible.
