The Minister of Education arrives in Suez Governorate to launch the activities of the "Egypt Schools Olympiad"

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived in Suez Governorate; To launch the celebration activities for the finals of the “Egypt Schools Olympiad” under the slogan “Together we grow” in Suez Governorate.

He was received by Major General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Governor of Suez, at the governorate’s general office, Khaled Saadawi, Secretary General of Suez Governorate, and Yasser Emara, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate.

The minister was accompanied on his visit to the governorate by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development.

During the visit, the minister reassured the progress of the educational process in the governorate, stressing that the ministry is working on one of the important axes, which is preparing the individual for life, restoring its educational role and returning students again to school, and limiting private lessons, directed by activating school activities and expanding their scope in the governorate, and working on Discovering and nurturing artistic, cultural and artistic talents.

In this context, the minister directed the preparation of competitions in all scientific, sports, artistic and cultural activities at the level of educational departments, with the aim of diversifying the skills of students, and achieving the pleasure of learning, leading to education that is productive of creativity.

For his part, the governor of Suez confirmed that the educational process is currently witnessing a great development, as students are regular in schools, in addition to activating support groups in the governorate, indicating that the governorate has 6 centers for support groups at the level of educational departments, and the number of students in the center reaches about 1200 students. .

The governor indicated that the governorate is in the process of establishing several educational projects in the governorate, including the establishment of the Egyptian International School.

It is worth noting that the number of schools in Suez governorate is 459, with 180,000 students.
