A delegation from the Tokyo Prefectural Board of Education continues its exploration of various aspects

Following the outcomes of the visit of Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to Japan, which aimed to enhance cooperation in various aspects of pre-university education, a high-level Japanese delegation from the Tokyo Prefectural Board of Education continued its series of tours to explore various aspects of the Egyptian education system. The delegation visited the Professional Academy for Teachers, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of professional development for teachers.
The visit included an inspection tour of the academy, during which members of the Japanese delegation were briefed on the training halls and the educational studio. The visit presented the teacher promotion system and training programs that enable teachers to develop their professional skills and obtain promotions according to specific criteria that ensure the quality and sustainability of the educational process.
During the visit, an expanded discussion session was held between the Egyptian and Japanese sides, during which views were exchanged on best practices in professional promotion systems for teachers and ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of training and development of educational personnel in Egypt, achieving excellence in educational performance and contributing to raising the level of education.
The Japanese side also gave a detailed presentation on the promotion system followed for teachers in Japan, outlining the basic principles that ensure continuous professional motivation for teachers and achieving outstanding educational outcomes.
The Japanese delegation reviewed some of the training provided in the Japanese education system, which focused on how Japanese teachers communicate with parents regarding negative phenomena such as bullying in schools.
The Tokyo Prefectural Board of Education delegation expressed their happiness with the visit, emphasizing the importance of educational partnerships between the two countries to enhance the quality of education and raise the standard of teachers.
The Japanese delegation included Kudo Tadahito, Head of International Cooperation, and members of the Tokyo Prefectural Board of Education delegation.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education was represented by Dr. Ashraf Bahgat, Director of the Professional Academy for Teachers; Dr. Hassan El-Gawish, Deputy Director of the Academy; Dr. Mohamed Gad, Secretary General of the Academy; Dr. Hanem Ahmed, Advisor to the Minister of Education and Technical Education for International Cooperation; and Ms. Nevin Hamouda, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Relations and Supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese Schools.
