The Ministry of Education organizes training for fourth grade teachers on the new curriculum in preparation for the 2021/2022 school year
In light of the directives of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry, represented by the Center for Curriculum Development and Educational Evaluation, in cooperation with the Central Administration for Basic Education, organized trainings for teachers of the fourth grade of primary school through a video conference network throughout the Republic on the new curriculum, from September 25 to October 6, as part of the ministry’s plan in preparation for the 2021/2022 school year.
The ministry stated that the training targeted nearly 80,000 teachers in cooperation with a number of international institutions, where teachers were trained in mathematics and science disciplines in cooperation with the Discovery Foundation, and teachers of social studies and professional fields in cooperation with National Geographic and Curriculum Center experts.
Trainings were also organized for teachers of the industrial and agricultural fields, home economics, educational media and libraries, as well as training of computer teachers and development specialists who were assigned to teach information and communication technology, in addition to organizing training lectures for teachers on tokatsu activities in the presence of a Japanese delegation in cooperation with the Egyptian-Japanese Schools Unit.
The trainings dealt with explaining how to deal with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and the electronic platforms launched by the Ministry during the last period, as well as explaining the axes and objectives of the learning outcomes in each of the targeted subjects.
